Employee Spotlight: Bruce Legg

Meet Bruce Legg, Field Service Technician in Baton Rouge, LA!

Bruce is an Army veteran who originally hails from Clyde, Ohio. Bruce served 3 years as a tank and truck mechanic in the Army. After his discharge, Bruce spent the next 40 years honing his skills in Ohio.

Bruce has worked at Hugg & Hall for a year and a half. His supervisor, Darren Hebert, said, “With the years of experience and certifications Bruce has, it was a no-brainer to hire him as a Hugg & Hall employee.”

Bruce spends his work days traveling to customers’ jobsites or warehouses and repairing their equipment. He said, “I enjoy troubleshooting equipment, and I like getting to see the different places I service equipment at.” The most interesting experience he’s ever had with Hugg & Hall was seeing the production line at Coca-Cola.

Bruce appreciates the way Hugg & Hall honors veterans. He said, “I like how Hugg & Hall treats us veterans.” Darren also commented on how grateful he is for Bruce’s service, saying, “His military career has given him a good foundation to proceed like a true professional.”

Outside of work, you can find Bruce in the great outdoors. He is an avid bow-hunter and he enjoys traveling to Tennessee.

Hugg & Hall recently honored Bruce with a Customer Service Spotlight. Darren said, “Our customers have recognized and praised Bruce’s dedication and thoroughness. I could not agree more. Spotlighting Bruce is one small way of saying thank you and ensuring his excellence doesn’t go unnoticed.”

We love to know our employees’ favorite quotes. Bruce’s is simple, but powerful: “Get it done.”
