Employee Spotlight: Cyndy Adams (Childs)

Say hello to Cyndy Adams (formerly Childs), Assistant Parts Manager in Springdale!

Cyndy is a Northwest Arkansas native, originally hailing from Elkins.

 

As an 11-year employee of Hugg & Hall, Cyndy is a Parts Counter staple and always greets customers with a smile. Even if you’re calling in, you can expect great customer service and a smile from her!

On any given day, you can find Cyndy hard at work at the Parts Counter. She’s Toyota Parts Professional Gold Level-certified, incredibly knowledgeable about all our brands, and always helps customers by sharing her knowledge.

Cyndy says that her primary duties can be divided into three categories: “Keep customers happy, support my teammates, and, of course, sell parts!”

As part of a team that handles millions of dollars in inventory every year, organization is paramount. Cyndy handles the challenge with ease, and even enjoys the variety and amount of inventory the team handles each month.

She said, “I love that we have such a variety of equipment lines. We’re constantly learning and working on new things. I also love the team I work with.”

Cyndy’s friendly nature once helped her make a good impression on John Hugg, one of the company’s owners. It’s actually her favorite memory of working at the company! “When I first met John Hugg. I thought he was a customer! Thankfully, I was really nice,” she said with a smile.

When asked for something her coworkers might not know about her, Cyndy said, “I actually went to paralegal school, and I thought I wanted to be a lawyer.”

 

Outside of the office, you can find Cyndy spending time with her family and friends. She’s a dedicated mom and frequently praises her child’s intelligence and thoughtfulness. (Cyndy tends to play it off when you mention how her child’s best qualities are directly from her, but her fellow employees all know it’s the truth.)

We always like to share our employees’ favorite quotes. We think it gives our customers a better sense of who our employees are. Cyndy’s is, “People are in your life for a reason, or a season.”
