Meet Ricky Nelson, a Shop Service Technician in Springdale, AR! Ricky celebrated 39 years with Hugg & Hall and is approaching his 40th work anniversary in9/26 2024.
Ricky is NWA born and raised. He grew up in the Springdale/Rogers area and attended VoTech before starting his career with Hugg & Hall. He lives with his wife in the Lowell area, in a house they built.
Ricky told us that he enjoys working as a Shop Service Technician because of the variety of work he gets to do. Every day, he gets to work on something different and solve new challenges.
Over the years, Ricky has enjoyed working with the good people on his team. Ricky said he has made great friends and great memories at Hugg & Hall. He enjoys reminiscing about dirt track racing with Frank Reeves and Roy Clark. He also participated in a company bowling league several years ago, and proudly recounts winning second place.
In his free time, you can find Ricky fishing or going to flea markets and farmers’ markets with his wife. He also loves spending time with his wife in their Lowell home.
Ricky has enjoyed his many years of service with Hugg & Hall. He said he would “like to work at Hugg & Hall for 50 years” before he retires.
When we asked Ricky if there was anything he wanted to leave with us, he reminded us that you can never have too many tools.
