Jerrod English, Utility Services Outside Salesman

Say hello to Jerrod English, a Utility Services Equipment team member with nearly 18 years of tenure at Hugg & Hall Little Rock!

As a Utility Services Salesperson, Jerrod is responsible for renting and selling products like generators, air compressors, temporary heaters and air conditioning units, and more. His territory covers the Little Rock, Conway, and Hot Springs metro areas, as well as the surrounding rural areas.

In his own words, he says his job duties revolve around one goal: “Taking care of customers, no matter what. The customer is my top priority.”

Jerrod says the most interesting part of his job is “getting to meet new people, and getting access inside the industrial world.” He loves the variety between each day and says you can find new ways to use equipment on each and every one of those days. “One hot summer day, I was tasked to pull a sunken boat out of a lake. There were no complaints from me—imagine, a lake day at work!”

He has zero fear when it comes to cold calling—he picks up the phone and reaches out to new prospects with confidence and persistence. He turns potential “no’s” into real opportunities. His follow-up game is equally strong. He stays on top of every lead, nurturing relationships until they rent, which builds trust and keeps deals moving.

Coming from his background as a service technician, Jerrod brings invaluable hands-on expertise to customer service. When a machine fails or issues arise, he doesn’t just sell—he steps in with practical knowledge and solutions that keep customers happy and loyal long after the sale.

Jerrod’s work ethic is top notch. He’ll start early, stay late, or do whatever it takes to make a deal happen. He shows true commitment to the team and our customers.

After the Work Week Ends

At home, Jerrod has a super cool hobby: he has a small apiary and raises honey bees on his family’s farm! He’s an Arkansas native who grew up in Des Arc. He’s fond of the peaceful, small-town life he’s cultivated on his family’s farm. He also enjoys camping and kayaking, and he helps his kids show livestock.
