Your Guide to Forklift Attachment Types

There are tons of options for forklift attachment types… how do you know which one is best for your operation? We can help.

Cascade Forklift Attachment Types

Hugg & Hall rents and sells Cascade forklift attachments. We’re proud to partner with a company that meets the highest standards for warehouse attachments.

Forks

The most traditional of attachments, used to lift and transport loads on pallets. Forks require the load to be on a pallet and secured to avoid slipping or sliding off the side.

This is not an exhaustive list of all forks Cascade offers. Please visit their website for additional info.

Gypsum Forks

A uniquely-designed blade that provides product protection for gypsum wallboard (and similar products).

Stainless Steel-clad Forks

Designed for use in the food and beverage industry, these forks are easy-to-clean and good for sanitary environments.

Fork Positioners

No matter which forks are best for your industry, at times you’ll need to handle different-sized loads. Cascade’s fork positioners make that possible for your operators.

Fork positioners even reduce downtime—your operators can adjust the fork width without even leaving their seats!

Clamp Attachments

Clamps are used to grip any load that can’t sit on traditional forks. There are a wide variety of clamp attachment styles, and which one you’ll need is dependent on your industry.

Cascade even sells contact pads to help protect your products even further.

Carton Clamps

Flat clamps that can be used in a variety of industries, but best utilized for extra-large loads with flat or marginally curved sides.

Slightly curved clamps used to grip and lift standard 55-gallon drums in the petroleum and chemical industries.

Paper Roll Clamps

It’s all in the name! This variety of attachments, designed as a curved clamp, helps warehouses lift large rolls of paper.

Multi-roll Pivot Arm Clamps

These are designed for mills and stevedores, but you can use them in any application where multiple roll-handling improves productivity.

Push-pulls & Slip Sheets

Need to transport heavy loads but not to lift them? Push-pulls will be your new best friend.

A push-pull has long, very flat forks that slide easily underneath slip sheets.

Another “it’s in the name” moment, slip sheets are thin, flat supports that eliminate the need for pallets.

This forklift attachment type is most often used in the food-processing industry, but push-pulls can also be used in the paper and chemical industries, or to move bagged products like rice or cement.

Hugg & Hall can help meet your forklift attachment type needs! No matter what your warehouse handles, Cascade Corporation has the attachments you need.
