Meet Drew Logsdon, one of our CDL-A Delivery Drivers in Fort Smith, AR! 

Drew is an Arkansas native from Ratcliff. He currently lives in Van Buren, AR. He loves Van Buren because “it’s got the amenities of a big city, but that small-town feel. It’s great.”

Drew has been with Hugg & Hall for 10 months and will be celebrating his one-year work anniversary soon. He’s had a lot of positive experiences during his time with Hugg & Hall. Drew’s favorite day on the job was the day he delivered his first oversize load. He said it was an exciting and educational experience.

One thing Drew enjoys about his job is the variety of interesting people and equipment he gets to work with each day. He says that the driver team is “like family” and that one of his favorite things is working with the other drivers. 

Drew is an incredibly hard worker. When he’s not driving, you can find him working as a firefighter and training new firefighters for the job. He also owns and runs a power-washing business. At work, Drew is committed to making sure the job gets completed: “I start around 6am and work till I’m done. I stay busy making sure we get done what needs to get done.”

Drew’s supervisor, Chuck Ball, complimented his reliability and work ethic: “Drew is as solid as a driver gets. He’s not only reliable, but passionate about what he does. We appreciate Drew’s willingness to get the job done and we trust that he does it right.”

Meet Jason Pearson, Field Service Coordinator at our Texarkana, Arkansas branch! 

Jason is an Arkansas native from Benton county. He currently lives on the Texas side of Texarkana and drives across the state line to the Texarkana branch. 

As the Field Service Coordinator, Jason organizes maintenance for customer equipment that can’t be brought into the branch. He manages the schedules for a team of nearly 20 technicians, works with the parts department to check part order status, and enters techs’ time for work orders.

Jason recently celebrated his one-year work anniversary. His favorite thing about working at Hugg & Hall is “my coworkers, because we’re like a big family.” His coworkers enjoy working with him, and during his time at Hugg & Hall, he’s built a rapport with his team. 

Jason has been married for 10 years, and he has three children aged 18, 9, and 7. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family and watching his kids’ sports activities. He’s also an Arkansas Razorbacks fan and watches the football games during the fall.

I try not to dwell on the past and don’t typically look too far in the future. I try to take each day for what it is and make the best of it.”
